It was clean and fantastic, good enough for celebrating birthday. Convenient decor and bed was exceptionally comfortable.

All the employees were courteous and nice. Overall it was immaculate and absolutely fantastic with good storage space.

We lovely spend 1 night in Lydney. The morning breakfast was good with a croissant. Truly enjoyed staying at the large and functional king room with shared bathroom.

The queen room we stayed in was airy with shared bathroom. An electric kettle, central heating, and an iron/ironing board were there too. The location offered was particularly good close to local restaurants and a Tesco's, and local pubs. Besides, it was great 

The hotel's location was magnificent, just off the outskirts of Lydney and the centre. Plus, it was 15 minutes by car to Lydney Harbour. Got the same functional king room with very comfortable bed booked 

Nice building and rooms with “ shared bathroom ”. Nice, excellent location in a beautiful part of the country. Also - near a 26 miles hike for charity, and a local cafe for breakfast.

Unattentive staff!

We enjoyed the perfect and magnificent location to walk in the morning to get to the bus stop in the great area. Also, Lydney Harbour was 4 km away.

The location of the hotel was prime, on the outskirts of Lydney. Stayed here before and I would not hesitate to return here.

Everything was really good, with accommodating and pleasant staff, suited the needs.

Not obvious to find!

We were pleasantly surprised by the family accommodation at Deangate Motel. It was like a self-contained flat with plenty of space for our family of 4 adults and 1 minor. The rooms were comfortable, private, secure, and had a lot of fresh air. Definitely worth the money! The room 

The hotel met needs, it was a such great stay for the 1 night. It was in a central setting to the Forest of Dean. The folks working here were accommodating and courteous.

The staff was welcoming and polite and we would stay here again. Liked our airy room with shared bathroom. The location was prime, relatively close to Taurus Crafts.

It's an exceptionally comfortable hotel in the neat building. Guests have all their needs satisfied by the extremely friendly and outstandingly accommodating staff. I would stay here again, greatly enjoyed this place.
